After being inspired by a performance from Jay-Z on the BET Awards , I decided to make another album , my 3rd in 09.

On the 4th of July , I called Da Hitman , My partner in Rhyme on "Rebirth Of The Emcee" and countless other projects and we decided to make a real aggressive album. An album that would finish what Jay had started with D.O.A....This album was to be completed and uploaded on my birthday ,September 10th ,2009.

Can you make an album in 2 months he asked? "Yes sir " I replied....

Within minutes Da Hitman had 12 beats in my inbox and I sent out emails to the usual suspects for their production.

Big Shotgun ,Mike Ruiz , Low Tolerance , Kwaku and Agzilla all responded with great music...

as did new comers Alpyne and Da Dreak (New to working with me at least :)

The writing began on July 6th...

But something happened that changed everything...

One night I saw a convention online with Creflo Dollar and he was speaking about how we have to get VIOLENT with our FAITH.

"WOW ! That is a great title "! I Said and it seemed to fit perfectly with the direction my lyrics were going in.

I have always been a believer in God and always spoke of him in my music...But he started pulling me in a different direction once this album got off the ground.

Events that had/have happened over the past year all came to a boiling point and I made the personal decision to get VIOLENT with my Faith.

I was also given a CD entitled "Caves are for cowards" , The personal testimony of Pastor Sheryl Brady.

This CD impacted me greatly...She had already went through mentally what I was going through and I completely identified.

I identified to the point I wanted to sample her and put her on the LP.

SO , It went from her and moved onto Bishop T.D Jakes ,To Creflo Dollar.

With Bishop Jakes seeing the most time. , Due not only to his powerful preaching but his availability on limewire :)

Thats right , I downloaded the sermons..

Now , I had special guest Preachers on a Hip-Hop Lp :)

What else could I do to make this album even more of an oddity in today's music?

I decided to put all of these preachers over instrumentals of my favorite metal band...Metallica.

That would be the ultimate display of Violent Faith..IMO

I made the decision to quit cussing in my lyrics on this LP and I finally took off my cool and made straight forward "Christian" music.

BUT , It's MY personal brand of Christian music.

So not too much has changed about me , I just took off the layers that were holding me back...

We all get to a point in our lives where we do what is best for us at that time...and this album is the best thing that has ever happened to me musically and spiritually.

And Special Honors go to Agzilla.

Agzilla mixed the majority of my vocals on the Hip-Hop tracks and contributed very humbly and generously to this project.
